Can Our Eagles Fly in South Africa?

I have been optimistic that our Eagles will fly in South Africa when the World Cup starts in June. But their recent display in Austria where Saudi Arabia showed them a little on how a team should play is trying to make me think twice. Even Amodu's team would have beaten the Saudi team that night.
I am not saying that Lager Beer, sorry I mean Lagerbak is not a good coach but then one will be forced to ask what his plans are with such a team when other countries have submitted their 23 man squad.
Did you see Yobo in that game? It beats my imagination why coaches will rely on a player's past performances to include him a world cup bound team. As long as i am concerned, Yobo is no longer the Yobo we used to know. He has now turned to Zobo.
What of Echiejile? May be Taye Taiwo don do juju for am and that is why he has lost enrything including ball control.
I want to know if this is what we will expect in South Africa or Largerbak will perform a magic.
I pray that this Eagles do not give us heart attack.
GOD WILL HELP US BUT THEN LET US DO WHAT IS REQUIRED OF US.

The Death of a President.

The death of President Yar Ardua finally put to rest the yarning for power by a cabal that was led by the first lady.
I am one of those who have hoped that the late president will recover from the illness that have kept him out of sight since November 2009.
Honestly, it is and will always be my belief that the late president is one of the best president we have ever seen. He had good intentions but the people that surrounded him were his problem.
Imagine someone like James Ibori being a key player in a government that wants to have zero tolerance to corruption.
The crux of the matter is that Yar Ardua is gone and may his gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
Now that the president is dead, the nation must go forward. But one thing is certain and it is the fact that the cabal have lost the battle and power is now in the hand of the person they did no want to smell it.
No amount of mourning or crying will bring him back but then we must immortalize a man who made the first genuine move to bring back peace in the Niger Delta.
Thus Yar Ardua became the second  Nigerian president to die in power in last 12 years and i am still wondering if the people that put him in power did not have this feat in mind when they forced him on Nigerians. I also believe that he could have lived beyond this year if he had refused to live other people's vision and decide to rest after 8 years of good governance in Katsina.
The servant leader came, saw and we are yet to know if he conquered before death conquered him.
The death of a president is a big blow to the nation and put some group that call themselves the cabal to shame.

YERIMA AND BABY WIFE, WHO IS TO BLAME?

It is no longer news that Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima also known as Sharia Governor got himself a baby wife not long ago or how do you describe a union between this old man and a 13 years old girl.
Women groups are shouting foul and calling for the head of the former governor of Zamfara State.
In as much as Yerima is guilty of child abuse, what of the parents of the girl? What motivated the parents of the baby wife into agreeing for such a union? could we not say that the parents of Yerima's newest wife have let Nigerians parents down? Infact i will be happy if their other children will be taken away from them so that they will not give them away for marriage to another old man. I wonder what will motivate a parent into giving someone at that away in marriage. I thank the women who went to the senate to protest but then let them get the parents of the girl first hand them over to security agencies. The senate is full of men with low morality, so i do not see a reason why they will allow Yerima to be disgraced.
Who knows some other Senators have their own baby wife. Yerima, the parents of the baby wife should and must be punished to put a stop to this evil act caled child abuse.

MEN ARE FATHERS BY ASSUMPTION.

It is a popular saying that it is only women that trully know the father of their child or children.
Based on this, one can rightly say that men are fathers by assumption.
So one can not actually say that his father is actually his biological father.
It is only a woman that knows when she takes in and who actually scored the goal. So when a child is born, the mother tells him or her that this man is his/her father and in almost all the cases,it is the husband that gets the credit of fathering the child when he may not be the one in the actual sense.
What do men have to do other than believe that what their darling wife told them is true and this makes them fathers by assumption.
It is a however an assumption that only a DNA Test can correct.
So what can men do about it?
You that is a man, is it not your mother that showed you  your father or where you there when they gave birth to you?
